Monoethanolamine (MEA) Scrubbers
For more than 40 years, CEPEDA has designed, manufactured, tested, serviced, and refurbished carbon dioxide (CO2) scrubbers for the U.S. Navy. These units utilize monoethanolamine (MEA) to remove CO2 from enclosed atmospheres.
The scrubbers are a staple of CEPEDA's product line that showcase the following capabilities:
Machining
CNC-milled components
Fabrication
Piping
Complex layouts
Large rolled shells
Spun tank heads
Welding
GTAW
SMAW
Consumable inserts
Pipe socket welding (Tech Pub 278 classes P-1 & P-2)
Pipe socket brazing (NAVSEA 0900-LP-001-7000 class P-2b)
Materials include various stainless steels and aluminum

Lithium Hydroxide (Li-OH) Scrubbers
For over 20 years, CEPEDA has manufactured, tested, and serviced lithium hydroxide (Li-OH) scrubber receptacles (hoppers) for the U.S. Navy. These units draw contaminated air through Li-OH canisters to remove CO2 and other harmful contaminants from enclosed atmospheres.
The hoppers have become a staple of CEPEDA's product line since we initially reverse-engineered them for the U.S. Navy. They showcase the following capabilities:
Machining
CNC-lathe components
Fabrication
Sheet metal
Complex layouts
Precise fit-ups
Welding
GTAW
