Product Testing
Test Facilities
CEPEDA regularly conducts acceptance, qualification, and research testing on life support equipment. We maintain fully functioning environmental and high-pressure air test facilities capable of the following:
Atmospheric air @ 700+ CFM with variable temperature and humidity
Synthetic atmospheres with known levels of carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen (H2)
Chilled water with flow rates up to 40 GPM and temperatures as low as 40°F
Electrical power, 440V, 3 phase
Monitoring of CO2, H2, and carbon monoxide (CO) levels
High-pressure air up to 5000 PSI at 150 SCFM
Airborne sound measurements per MIL-STD-740-1/-2, MIL-STD-1474, and EB5221
Structureborne vibratory measurements per MIL-STD-740-2
Data acquisition system for automated collection of pressures, temperatures, flow rates, and dew points
Fluidborne/in-pipe acoustic testing per DTRC liquidborne test procedure for Navy Pumps and EB 5221
Testing Equipment
CEPEDA maintains an array of standard test equipment, calibrated per ISO 10012 and MIL-STD-45662A, including:
Flow meters
Pressure transducers and gages
Temperature transducers and gages
Gas analyzers
Hygrometers
Data acquisition systems
Sound and vibration analysis systems
Electrical test instruments
Brinell hardness tester
Testing Support
CEPEDA’s engineering team also has experience qualifying hardware through stringent first-article tests, including operational, environmental shock and vibration, and electromagnetic interference (EMI).
