CEPEDA maintains a fully qualified welding program under the requirements of NAVSEA S9074-AQ-GIB-010/248 (Tech Pub 248) performing welding to fabrication documents S9074-AR-GIB-010/278 (Tech Pub 278), T9074-AD-GIB-010/1688 (Tech Pub 1688), and PPD 802-7094539. CEPEDA also maintains AWS D1.2 certifications to perform periodic aluminum welding for DoD applications:
GTAW: SS, CS, Aluminum, CUNI, NICU, Hastelloy, Incoloy, Inconel, HY-80, HY-100, S-34 hard-facing, Titanium (WIP)
SMAW: CS to SS Dissimilar, SS, CS
GMAW: SS, Carbon Steel, CS (including HY) to SS dissimilar, HY-80
Resistance Welding: Spot and Seam Welding per MIL-W-6858 and AWS D17.2 - Group 2 alloys
If you have different needs, we can create a customized solution for your application and qualify as necessary.
We also have welders qualified for brazing per NAVSEA 0900-LP-001-7000.
